President Nicolás Maduro: The governing body of the methodology will be created to elect candidates

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, announced that the governing body of the combined, intermediate base method will be created to elect the candidates for the next electoral process scheduled for April 27.

In this regard, he specified that this Wednesday, February 5, the first vice-president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, will announce to the governing body the methodology for the process of electing candidates.

“Tomorrow, Diosdado will announce what will be the governing body of this methodical process,” he said during the installation of the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and IV of the Youth of the Red Awning, the JPSUV.

In this context, he noted that the formation of a special electoral commission with plenipotentiary powers will be announced to guarantee the stewardship of the entire process until the nomination of the candidates, state by state.
