The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led the closing of the second edition of Expo Metal 2025, which brought together important companies from the industrial, service and mining sectors, who showed their high productive capacity and innovation.
“If yesterday the battle was with swords, spears and rifles on horseback, today the battle is about producing, supplying, exporting and developing. Venezuela has everything, we don't need anything; we have what we need here: land, sun, water, wealth, and it's Venezuelan,” he emphasized.
The statement was made in the state of Bolívar, where the above-mentioned Expo closed and activated the fourth Engine dedicated to the Mining and Basic Industries sector of the Plan for the Development of the 13 Productive Engines.
“Our Homeland will never be a colony,” he said.
The event promoted the creation of new business opportunities at the commercial level, to strengthen the country's development both nationally and internationally.
The Expo presented, last Friday the 21st, a balance sheet highlighting the conclusion of more than 200 commercial agreements, 2,232 business appointments and the participation of 3,520 people, in the Caronoco Club, in Ciudad Guayana.
