The President of the Republic, Nicolás Madur o, emphasized that in the face of the story of lies and hate, “Venezuela has triumphed again, we are at peace and mobilized in the streets.”
“One month after the victory of the People of Venezuela, we are at peace and united as a homeland,” he said at the Miraflores Palace, when he welcomed the Long March to celebrate a month of popular victory, in the Presidential Election of July 28.
He said that it has been 30 days of battle for the truth, “because the battle we have fought and are winning is for the truth of a country.”
“We wanted to impose a narrative to justify violence, and we wanted to sow hatred to justify division, intolerance, but today we can say that to the story of lies: The truth has triumphed,” he said.
