In the context of a working day dedicated to domestic production, this Friday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, visited the socialist company Conductors of Aluminum del Caroní (CABELUM), attached to the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG), located in the new Industrial Zone “La Brisas de Ciudad Bolívar”, in Ciudad Bolívar.

The visit of the National President is appropriate to confirm the production of this company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of wire rod, electrical conductors made of aluminum, alloys and the like in a sustainable way in order to satisfy national communities and companies, in addition to the international market.

Currently, CVG CABELUM produces more than 20,000 tons of transformed aluminum per year, which represents approximately 1,300 tons per month.

It is important to note that the raw material received by this company comes from the Venezuelan Aluminum Industry (CVG Venalum). Once the aluminum is obtained, a transformation process (wire rod and electrical conductors) is carried out, which is used in the refineries of Petrleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA), among other companies.

Within the CVG CABELUM, there is a Productive Council of Workers (CPTT), made up of more than 400 workers who promote domestic aluminum production, while supporting the development of the new economic model based on production.

The company supplies international markets, including Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Türkiye.

They accompany the Head of State, the first combatant and deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores de Maduro; the governor of the state of Bolivar, Ángel Marcano; the president of the CVG Supervisory Board; Héctor Silva; the president of CABELUM, Néstor Díaz; among other authorities and guests.
