President Nicolás Maduro: A new phase of the powerful Iran-Venezuela alliance begins

During the closing ceremony of the X Iran-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission held at the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that with the signing of the agreements resulting from this new meeting, a new phase opens with great challenges and challenges for both nations.

“This X Joint Commission opens a new phase with great challenges and challenges within the framework of a world without hegemons or hegemonisms, of a world without empires or imperialisms, of a world without colonies or colonialism, of a world without fascism, of a more humane world. A new phase of a powerful Iran-Venezuela alliance is opening for shared economic development to increase trade, to increase mobility and exchange through tourism,” he said.

He highlighted the great technological and scientific advances that position Iran as one of the great powers of the emerging world, and stated that in Venezuela “to the same extent that we are weaving our own model of independence, to the same extent and simultaneously, we are weaving the new world, our world, consolidating a historical relationship like Venezuela never had before with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he emphasized.

He recalled that it was Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez who, with his vision of a giant of the times, warned of the importance for Venezuela of this alliance with Iran, which stands as one of the emerging nations of the new multipolar world.
