The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Wednesday his commitment to guarantee a decent income for the country's working class, despite the criminal economic blockade imposed by the United States (USA) and its allies on the national and international right.

“With sanctions or without sanctions, we are going to recover workers' income,” said the head of state as he marched with the people that flooded the streets of Caracas to commemorate International Workers' Day.

In a video released by journalist Madeleine García, the Venezuelan dignitary stated that “the day of the working class is the day of world socialism, it is the day of socialists, of those who dream of the future”.

He praised the great mobilization in the country's capital. “This is the march, I have participated what I tell you since the 80s in marches, and this is one of the biggest mobilizations and here we go with the people marching in the streets,” he said.
