President Maduro wished the Venezuelan people a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025!

This Saturday, December 21, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, sent a message to the Venezuelan people in the framework of a beautiful video on the occasion of the celebration of Christmas and the birth of the Child Jesus.

At the end of the audiovisual, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the head of state stated that “we are going to see how that Child is born, in a humble manger, the Child Jesus of Palestine, who changed humanity when he became a man”.

“Let's go with the carols, drums and parties, let the four ring and listen to the songs in honor of our Child Jesus, who brings us as a gift his blessings and his love, and the protection of all the people of Venezuela,” he said.

He reiterated that in Venezuela “Christmas must be poetry, four and drums.”

He recalled some of the emblematic songs alluding to the Christmas holidays in Venezuela such as the “Burrito Sabanero” and in his opinion “the song of the moment” Corre Caballito”.

“What comes with God's blessing is much better, so we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025, full of joy, peace, love and hope,” he said.

For her part, the Republic's first fighter, Cilia Flores de Maduro, said that December is definitely the most beautiful month of the year, “the Christmas message is written in the simplest things, in the family embrace, in the smiles of girls and boys, in the love of every man and woman in our land.”

“For me, Christmas is seeing the face of the People and the conviction and gratitude to God, that we have had a very beautiful year 2024 and what is coming is much better,” he said.
