The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the young people who this Thursday, September 12, organized a mobilization in Caracas to celebrate the 16th anniversary of the JPSUV.

From the square of the Anti-Imperialist Rebellion, he celebrated the new anniversary of the young arm of the red awning and added that “whether it shines, rain or lightning we will be happy, free and victorious”.

He took the opportunity to plant three trees, in a space that “will transcend all time because we are in a square that represents the eternity of the thought of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Three Roots of our historical ideology,” he said.

In that vein, he congratulated the young people for the march this Thursday.

“Tremendous march: joyful and festive (...) Today I planted three trees on my 16th birthday of the JPSUV, the first an Araguaney in homage to our giant and his immortal spirit; the second tree was planted together with Diosdado Cabello and a group of young people a Samán to guarantee the growth of this youth and the third, we also planted it together with our hands, another Araguaney that I planted against fascism and whose color represents the spiritual wealth of a youth that will never give up and build the future”.
