President Maduro: We will be quoted for producing healthy food

This Thursday afternoon, June 6, the coordinator of the Political Council of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Luis Reyes Reyes received the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in one of the oldest communes in the state of Lara to oversee the start of the Winter Cycle Sowing Plan 2024-2025 for corn.

“We will be quoted for producing healthy food,” said the Head of State as he began his tour of the El Maizal Commune.

“We are very happy to receive him in this commune called El Maizal, which is out of everyday life and beyond the meetings and discussions about water or electricity, it is productive, as are all the communes of the entity's agricultural axis,” said Reyes Reyes.

The Head of State specified that “planting is a tradition in the state of Lara, because in the 70s it was the entity's first economic activity”.
