President Maduro: We must have love for what is ours and faith in the future of the Homeland

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, at the ceremony on the occasion of Cristóbal Mendoza's arrival at the National Pantheon, asked for love for the Fatherland and faith in our people as a legacy and teaching of Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.

He asserted that Commander Chavez left us a method of interpreting historical processes that turns history into a living force, an example for the present and that ends up being the source of inspiration and resistance.

“Today's battle: The battle between the antihomeland, between the oligarchy and the Fatherland and the People, between the truth and them. Either we are a free homeland or we are nothing!” sentenced.

At this event, President Maduro commissioned the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, and the historian José Ubaldo García, to edit an encyclopedia book about the life of Cristóbal Mendoza, “so that they can be in schools, high schools and communities.”
