President Maduro: We must establish a health system for direct care for grandparents and grandmothers

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through a telephone contact during the Congress of Grandparents of the Homeland Capitulo Caracas, ordered maximum attention to the health of adults and older adults in the country.

“Advancing the Grandparents' Circles, which are already 1,132 in Caracas, these must be the central nucleus to protect our grandparents and grandmothers, to establish a health system directly to the person and that guarantees detailed care; we have to achieve it, we are going to achieve it,” said the head of state.

In this regard, he called for an increase in the number of More Years, More Love days across the country.

In addition, he described older adults as the “foundational generation of the Fatherland” that has been this sector most affected by the imperial blockade, while ensuring that he implemented all the proposals that will be included in this Congress of Grandparents and Grandparents of the Fatherland.


He announced that next Wednesday there will be a national day of exercise and sharing for grandparents and grandmothers.
