President Maduro: We have consolidated the perfect union of Venezuela's left-wing movements

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stated that the revolutionary struggle of recent years has succeeded in consolidating “the perfect union in diversity, of the left-wing, progressive, nationalist, democratic, popular and revolutionary movements in Venezuela.”

This is what he said when referring to the union of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), “today more consolidated, this union that we have that is spiritual, which is programmatic, we have built this union in action,” he said during an event held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, to accept the candidacy of this coalition of parties for the 2024 Presidential Election.

“All this feeling of friendship, fraternity, love that springs from each one of us is authentic. Not an extra word, it has been authentic in diversity,” he argued.

“Our shirts and caps may have different colors, but in the end we are one: the Homeland, Venezuela, the dream of America, the hope of the Peoples. Venezuela the rebel, Venezuela the great one, that of Bolívar, that of Ezequiel Zamora, that of Simón Rodríguez, that of Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías,” he emphasized.

The head of state recognized the efforts that the political parties of the GPPSB make “to organize themselves better and better, to be more and more useful to our people and our country.

In that regard, he stated that “I admire the perseverance and the struggle, the discipline of each one of you and the strength that you express, the multicolored strength of a diverse country, of a complex society that has entered a new era of transition”.
