President Maduro: We have combated all threats

At the beginning of the Bolivarian Shield 2025 military exercises, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that we have combated all the threats that have loomed over our Homeland.

From the Courtyard of Honor of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela in Caracas, the Head of State greeted all the deployed military personnel, as well as all the FANB, which at the national level is already deployed in the Bolivarian Shield exercises 2025 “for the defense of peace, the integral sovereignty of Venezuela, democracy, freedom and the rights of Village”.

The Head of State stressed that 2025 marks the 19th anniversary of the birth of the Bolivarian Shield Exercises “to defend our right to live, to exist, to the peace of a beautiful Venezuela that has risen up in the exercise of its permanent sovereignty.”

In his words, President Maduro added that today we have a country capable of saying we are at peace. “We have cleared clouds and attempts to disturb the development of our Republic and we have perfected, at the highest level, the defensive system with Venezuelan doctrine and military thinking with our strategy and method,” he said.

The Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) said that we are going to begin the most complex exercises ever carried out in Venezuela, “in a perfect fusion of the FANB, the People and the police forces, the best exercises to guarantee peace.”
