During the meeting with the Bolivarian National Militia, President Nicolás Maduro emphasized that the Venezuelan people are not only caring for material wealth but also for the spiritual, political and military legacy of the liberators of America.

“In Venezuela, not only are we taking care of the right to peace and to the existence of present and future generations, but we are perhaps taking care of the most important wealth, which is the spiritual, political and military legacy of the liberators of America, of those who founded an entire continent, of those who built popular and revolutionary armies,” said the Head of State.

In that sense, he argued that the best way to protect the legacy of liberators is to do, build, develop the original ideas of “our roots” in the present and envision the future.

On the other hand, he wished the entire Venezuelan military family, all the country's militiamen and all the people a blessed and happy Christmas.

“Let us prepare to receive an auspicious, blessed, peaceful and happy year 2025. In the next few days we will be preparing to receive the baby Jesus and the new year. Nothing and no one will disturb Venezuela's right to happiness, Christmas and a peaceful New Year,” he said.
