President Maduro: We are building direct democracy and consolidating Popular Power

This Thursday, March 27, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, is leading an activity to consolidate the Popular and Communal Government System in La Dolorita, Miranda state.
During the tour of the community, he stressed that “we are designing the new system of Government, for more popular, direct, true democracy and more Popular Power. It's a key formula: direct democracy under advanced construction and Popular Power under consolidation.”
In that sense, he emphasized that these are two vital concepts that are in full development, “that's why I'm glad that we are seeing how the concrete agenda of action is going to green up.”
The head of state specified that seven work teams must be established, “to begin to establish popular self-government, which is together with the People, with and for the People.”
He stressed that with the consolidation of the aforementioned system, a new political interaction of the country begins, so that the People carry out politics with a capital P in their territory.”
