The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela is a country that refused to surrender. This was stated during the closing of the First World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions held for two days in Caracas.

In his words, the President emphasized that the country has been maintained on the basis of a plan of resistance of a people.

He emphasized that the national economy has been robustly underpinned and “Venezuela will continue its process of building its own productive model, with economic growth, low inflation and the recovery of social rights.”
