Venezuela in the month of June, which closed this Sunday 30th, registered the lowest inflation in 39 years in the country's economy, which is an economic miracle, allowing families and entrepreneurs to plan with greater precision, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“In terms of economic growth, I can't say the data, because I'm not going to test the Central Bank of Venezuela, but I can tell you that yesterday at closing, the first half of this year was great news in terms of the growth of the real economy,” he said.

He explained that “in record time we were slowing it down, with domestic production, with correct public policies, new surgical investments in the economic sectors”, at the Municipal Theater of Caracas, during the editorial in the 52nd broadcast of his program Con Maduro+.

He also stated that in June 2024 compared to June 2023, “we have managed to collect 160% more efficiently in taxes, and the collection is transformed into improved income, of retirees, investment, schools, high schools, universities, CDI, outpatient clinics.”

The head of state also highlighted the health of the country's Exchange System, “we are almost going to celebrate one year with the same sustainable and sustained exchange rate, if we slow down and bring inflation to a minimum, if we maintain economic growth, if we increase credit to entrepreneurs, we are on the rails of developing an economic model, which I said will be the wonder of South America.”
