The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged Venezuelans this Sunday to pray for the union and protection of Venezuela, regarding the holiday season.

“We are in times of reunion and union between family and friends. This Christmas we call on the Blessed Child Jesus to pour out his blessings on the Venezuelan people. Let us unite our prayers so that it protects the whole of Venezuela, with its light, love and strength,” said the head of state on his social network X.

The President has pointed out on other occasions that at this time the Venezuelan people celebrate twice: the arrival of Christmas as a rebirth of hope, and a free and sovereign homeland.
