President Maduro urged the formation of a thousand Promoting Teams of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, proposed a new goal and urged the formation of a thousand Promoting Teams of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement, in the thousand organized communes of the country.

“That each promoting team must go in search of the Basic Committees, which were registered in the Patria registry, of their territorial area of work and influence,” he said at the event he led on the occasion of the celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission.

He noted that “I say at least a thousand because by the first half of 2025, we should have organized the 4,530 Community Circuits and the 4,530 Promoting Teams”.

“Territorialize women's strength and continue to consolidate sectors and that unites us in a great movement, where no one is left over, where everyone is welcome. They are all necessary,” he stressed.

He also specified that to date 6,245,489 women have registered in the Great Venezuela Women's Mission throughout the country.

For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Jhoanna Carrillo, expressed the importance that from the Great Venezuela Women Mission, “we organize ourselves from the Communes, in the territory, this is how we are working, we have gone to more than 6,000 house to house so that, together with the movements that make up this Great Mission, we can further strengthen female empowerment”.

He stated that the more than 6 million women registered in the Great Venezuela Women's Mission are volunteers to enhance the qualities of women in the country.
