President Maduro: Today we have defeated the stigma of betraying the people

“Today we have defeated the stigma of betraying the people, we have defeated the curse of treason,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the celebration of the swearing in of office for the period 2025-2031.

“I have fulfilled as a man of the people, as a citizen I have complied with the Constitution; at 11 o'clock in the morning of January 10, 2025, the act was consummated: I have been sworn in as Constitutional President,” added the first National President.

The revolutionary forces mobilized this Friday in Caracas and the rest of the country, again, to accompany the swearing in of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, before the National Assembly (LAN).

According to article 231 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, “the elected candidate or elected candidate shall take office as President of the Republic on January 10 of the first year of their constitutional term, by taking an oath before the National Assembly.”
