President Maduro to Yulimar Rojas: We know your commitment and discipline, you are a warrior of life

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, expressed all his solidarity with the Queen of Triple Jumping, Yulimar Rojas, after the announcement of the medical injury that made it impossible for him to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Through his account on the social network X, the head of state specified that “all my love, solidarity, support and I ask for God's blessings for our Olympic, World, Universal Champion and the only Queen of Triple Jump. We love you and we know your commitment and discipline, you are a warrior of life, an example for young people, so you have the respect of the people. The Venezuelan athletes who will go to #Paris2024 are inspired by your example, you will always carry the Venezuelan flag with its eight stars high. Recover! We Are With You! My Embrace!”

Rojas announced this Friday, through his networks, that he will not be able to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after suffering an injury to his left achilles tendon.
