President Maduro to the youth: The new era of transition to socialism belongs to you

The president of
the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Monday that youth are at
the forefront of the revolutionary process to consolidate 21st century Socialism, bequeathed by Commander Hugo Chávez.
“I feel
fortunate to have with me, renewing and reinventing all methods of
struggle and Revolution, to this generation of gold, the third generation of the Bolivarian
Revolution and then comes the vanguard generation, the
young generation,” said the presidential candidate of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), during his registration with the National Electoral Council (CNE).
He said that “in
times of blockade and economic war, we have suffered labor
pain several times (...) This generation was born in storms, it is the generation of
the storm, that is why it is the generation of the avant-garde, because it knew how to recover and
move forward with an infinite strength that only youth inspired by original values have”.
In this sense, the J head of state argued that with this youth “a new era begins, the era of the new Venezuelanity, the era of the Venezuelan affirmative. The new era of transition to socialism belongs to you; if we are the Bicentennial generation, you are already the three-hundredth generation of the Independence Revolution.”
