The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged all the country's Communal Circuits to take care, outside and inside, of the different schools existing in Venezuela.

“I say to the country's communities, to families: Educational centers have to be taken care of by you and turn them into centers of life, of society, of the exercise of direct democracy,” he said when the Leonardo Infante Educational Complex reopened, in the Sucre municipality of Miranda state.

In this regard, he stressed that the community must “revolve around the active life of educational complexes.”

On the other hand, the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, drew attention to the excessive use of new communication and information technologies and how they are damaging brain functioning.

“The addiction generated by social networks is affecting school dynamics. These are elements that humanity is suffering and we have an obligation to review in order to have a quality education,” he said.
