President Maduro to opposition leaders: I challenge them to summon their people to elect candidates

After taking stock of the day of nomination meetings from the base of candidates and candidates of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela for the upcoming elections of May 25, President Nicolás Maduro challenged the country's opposition leaders to summon their supporters to be the ones to choose the candidates.

“I challenge the opposition to the oppositions, that they go looking for people, not just to ask them to vote and then shout fraud, why don't they give their people participation?” , pointed out while stressing that this new day of participatory and leading democracy within the PSUV is a demonstration of the trust of the leadership of the red awning in the wisdom of the People.

“The organization of the PSUV is absolutely new, we have built it by hand (...) It is a permanent social structure of life, it is an innovation for what our people know they can build and there are also the movements and parties of the Great Patriotic Pole,” he said.
