The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, rejected this Thursday the statements of the Secretary of State of the United States (USA), Marco Rubio, who during a visit to Guyana threatened the country with military action over the territorial dispute over Guiana Essequiba.

“Imbecile, no one threatens Venezuela because this is the homeland of the liberators, this is the homeland of (Simon) Bolívar, an imbecile,” the Head of State criticized from the La Dolorita sector, in Miranda state, during an activity to consolidate the Popular and Communal Government System.

He stressed that Marco Rubio has never seen a popular assembly or went to a neighborhood, “because they are part of Miami's corrupt elite. Very corrupt people who hate Venezuela.”

“He is the godfather of La Sayona (María Corina Machado), who doesn't even go to the bathroom, but consults Marco Rubio. Traitor to the Fatherland. Band of traitors,” said the Dignitary.
