During an assembly held with workers at the end of the great march of the working class, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that by 2024 the goal of oil production is one million 200 thousand barrels per day.

“Nothing and no one is going to stop us, we are going to make headway in the oil, gas and economic companies with our own efforts. This year we must reach the goal of one million 200 thousand barrels of oil per day, with our own effort, with the guts (...) there is no limit that can stop us,” he said.

The Head of State specified that despite the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States, the production of the Venezuelan oil company will maintain its pace of recovery.

“We were at PDVSA a few days ago, where a first phase began (...) because days before, at the request of the extremist right for surnames, the United States took new sanctions against PDVSA. What did they hurt? Of course they hurt, but we are already recovering, and with our own efforts nothing and no one is going to stop us,” he emphasized.
