This Friday, November 08, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that “I see a lot of nervous people, and I know a lot of nervous people, trying to reach Trump to take revenge against Venezuela and attack us.”

“Calm, sanity and nerves of steel,” he emphasized.

He stressed that “we, already speaking out regarding the elections in the United States, let the president-elect, Donald Trump, define his steps, his plans”.

Speaking to the media from the “General José Antonio Anzoátegui” Olympic Stadium, where the XXI Oriente 2024 National Sports Games opened, he emphasized that peace is the guarantee of work, the right to happiness, harmony and coexistence.

“We advocate for peace with freedom and equality in Venezuela and in the world,” he said.

In that scenario, the head of state stated that “I always tell the people of Venezuela: let's not expect anything but from ourselves. Venezuela will be great because of our efforts, because of our work.”

“Whatever President Trump does, who wants a set of plans for his country, whatever other Presidents do, we in Venezuelan territory guarantee peace, harmony, work, freedom, democracy and coexistence,” he reiterated.
