The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Wednesday the courage and resistance of the People in the face of the multiple aggressions against the Homeland by imperialism and the extreme right, which has underestimated it.
From the El Panal Commune, during an assembly of community members of Popular Power, the Head of State pointed out that “the greatest lesson we have learned is the importance of listening to the People, of always being by their side and of marching together. We must recognize and value the enormous capacity for creating resistance that our people have.”
He recalled the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, commemorating a new 12 years since his passage to immortality.
“And in 12 years, how many lessons have you learned? How many fights given? How many victories have been built by hand? They underestimated us. They underestimated me (...) Keep up the good work. Fascist, you're doing well, keep underestimating the volcanic telluric force of 1000 centuries that we have in our blood,” he stressed.
He reiterated that “the greatest teacher who rose up in these years of struggle is the lesson of listening to the People (...) the great sage of this historic time, the great collective intellectual of the Bolivarian Revolution is the humble people. It's you, men and women. From you emanate wisdom, moral strength, physical strength, and all the struggles and victories of these 12 years, which seem like a century, belong to you,” he emphasized.
