President Maduro signed Decree to create the Ministry of Popular Power for Older Adults

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the proposal to create the Ministry of Popular Power for Older Adults is contemplated in the Plan for the Homeland of the 7 Transformations.Net.

He stressed that, however, he took the decision together with the People, at the closing of the Congress of the Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland, “a President and an obedient Government, obeying the People, as never before done here.”

He recalled that the 7T.Net have been debated and discussed with the People, “designed for the historical era that leads us to 2030: the 7 great transformations, the 7 structural changes that Venezuela needs.”

In this regard, he indicated that within the framework of the 7T they had already received the proposal to create a great Mission for older adults, “I didn't leave it for later, I activated it now”.

“Officially grandparents of the Fatherland, I sign the Decree for the creation of the Ministry, as an institution and body to lead the Great Mission of the new generation Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland,” he said.

This was stated in his new program “With Maduro Suddenly”, broadcast on Radio Miraflores, where he stressed that the historic era inaugurated by Commander Hugo Chávez must be perfected, “changed to move forward”.
