President Maduro: Robert Serra's struggles continue to accompany the battles of youth

This Tuesday, October 1st, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that the political and social struggles of youth leader Robert Serra continue to accompany the battles that are taking place in Venezuela for the right to the future of youth.
“Today marks 10 years, when Alvaro Uribe Velez and a group of assassins ordered the assassination of our Robert Serra and 10 years later we say: Robert Vive,” he said.
This was emphasized at the Mountain Barracks, where homage was paid to the Bolivarian leader Robert Serra and María Herrera, 10 years after their planting, assassinated by the fascist right.
“Cilia and I loved him very much, for us he was like a son. He was an extraordinary being. He was a man who set such an example in his short life,” he said.
In that sense, he recommended that young people not let themselves be carried away by a first impression but to “look beyond, that's life, there are bad people (...) my mother told me: beware of envy, envy exists”.
“There are people who pretend to be friends with you, who love us very much and are swallowed up by envy. I have learned to see over the years, especially now, that I have had to run so many leagues. I've learned to see the evil and envy that says he loves you very much, but he stabs you right in the ass as soon as you turn around in your back.”
Faced with this possibility, he reiterated that “take great care, boys, of evil and envy. Preserve the purity of the soul and cultivate love, humility, sincerity, transparency of soul and heart”.
“I know why I tell them. Envy eats away at human beings,” he emphasized.
