The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a special program broadcast on Social Networks, revealed that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, sent him emissaries with messages in which he assured that he was tired of the far-right opponent Juan Guaidó for being an imbecile and corrupt.

Trump sent me to say, and he knows it, that he was stubborn about Guaidó, because he and the opposition had deceived him. That Guaidó was an imbecile and the opposition were thieves that as soon as he won, a new phase began for Venezuela and the United States to reconcile, but then he lost, Joe Biden came and since his arrival at the White House we have had conversations,” he said.

The Head of State acknowledged that he had conversations with emissaries of the United States government during the Barack Obama administration, who acknowledged that the decree describing Venezuela as a threat to his country had been an outburst.

“I told him face to face, how are you going to issue a decree like this saying that Venezuela is a threat to the United States and he told me that this had been a mistake and that they were going to solve it, because the problem was not him but the one who would succeed him and then Donald Trump came, with us we had contacts and we had conversations for a new phase,” stressed the national president.
