President Maduro remembers Commander Chávez's Timon Coup 12 years after the historic speech

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Sunday his “admiration and absolute loyalty” for Commander Hugo Chávez, on the 12th anniversary of the historic speech that charted the course of the revolutionary process, the “Timon Coup”.

Through a message on his social networks, the Head of State stressed that Chávez “never for a second lost sight of the great objective, the New Homeland”; and he clearly recalled his orientation: “Nicolás, this is not a time to rest, it is a time to fight, convene the Council of Ministers because I have several things to say and demand,” he quoted.

This is how he recalled that October 20, 2012, a “date marked for all time (...) because he gave the precise orders to build a powerful direct, socialist, popular, communal, truly participatory and leading democracy”.

In his message, the Dignitary pointed out that “the contribution of our Undefeated Leader was the concept of Socialism in the territorial sphere. Is it difficult to build it? Yes, but it's essential. And the first step is to empower people with awareness, education, projects and resources, action and problem solving. That's the way we're on! 'Commune or Nothing! ', is the mission, Chávez said it in the Timon Coup,” he emphasized.
