President Maduro reinforces cooperation and brotherhood with the peoples of the South within the framework of CELAC

In the framework of the
VIII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC),
which is being held in the city of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a multilateral
meeting, with the purpose of strengthening the ties of cooperation and brotherhood between the peoples of the South.
From the Sandals Hotel Convention Center, located in the capital of the Caribbean country, the
Heads of State and Government ratified their commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations, while revalidating their support for Venezuela
in the case
of the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to a press release from the Presidential Press.
On this
same day, the Preliminary Questions Chamber of this instance issued a
ruling authorizing the continuation of the baseless investigation against
the country for alleged “crimes against humanity”.
The meeting was
attended by the presidents of Bolivia, Luis Arce; of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, of Honduras, Xiomara Castro
de Zelaya, the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, and other authorities.
