President Maduro recognizes the work of the PSUV Electoral Commission for the selection of candidates (+25M)

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, recognized this Monday the work of the Electoral Commission of the red awning, headed by Diosdado Cabello Rondón, for the selection of candidates from the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB) who will participate in the legislative and regional elections to be held on May 25.

“The Electoral Commission did an extraordinary job, really, with comrade Diosdado Cabello Rondón at the helm. We have been working continuously, constantly, on all issues, always, and keeping the pulse of all the battle fronts,” said President Maduro during a press conference.

From the Antonio José de Sucre International School of Youth Leadership, in Miranda state, he pointed out that “in the electoral political field we have a very important event as a country on Sunday, May 25, where the people of Venezuela will come out to elect the National Assembly for the period 2026-2031 and to elect the 24 governors or governors of the country's 24 states.”

Maduro stressed that the Electoral Commission “has applied different methods (...) a detailed work has been done, applying what Commander Hugo Chávez called a basic intermediate method, which allows us to give voice, word and power to millions of men and women, more than 5 million compatriots who participated in the nomination and debate meetings.”
