This Wednesday, January 08, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the call to the Venezuelan people not to fall into provocations by the fascist extremist right. “the team is Venezuela united.”

He reiterated the complaint that the fascist opposition member María Corina Machado intends to move mercenary groups to attack opposition demonstrations of the extreme right.

“He intends, once again, to ambush his own people. As it has done on other occasions,” he said and I call attention to the sectors that follow this fascist extremist.

This was emphasized at the Miraflores Palace, on the occasion of the installation of the Organ of the Directorate for Integral Defense (ODDI), “the People of Venezuela have history, moral conscience and spiritual strength, which is why they are combative and do not give up.”

He warned that “in the next few hours, using social media mechanisms, they (extremist opposition) are going to increase lies, manipulation and psychological warfare. We are clear about that.”

In this scenario, the head of state recommended to the People, “absolute trust, nerves of steel, calm and sanity, maximum fusion and civic-military-police union. Cohesion, discipline, permanent action”.

“Peace will continue to be our victory against fascism. Activated in coordination,” he said.
