“Rain, shine or lightning this year we are going to the 31st election. There will be presidential elections in Venezuela,” said the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro.

During the Long March of January 23, in Caracas, the President assured that this year “we are going to see each other's faces several times. This year there are elections.”

The President invited the Revolutionary Forces to join, “to tell our Commander Hugo Chávez, you weren't wrong, you didn't plow in the sea, the people you protected and loved so much remain loyal and firm to the Bolivarian Revolution and to the Fatherland.”

In that regard, he said: “I know, I see it once again, the Bolivarian people, Chavista, will triumph again.”

Maduro asked Venezuelans not to let anything or anyone confuse them, to divide them, “let's join forces to win.”
