President Maduro promotes Colonel Luis Reyes Reyes, a 27N fighter, to Brigadier General

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, promoted Luis Reyes Reyes to the rank of Brigadier General at the event that, on the occasion of the b104 anniversary of Bolivarian Military Aviation, took place in the state of Aragua.

“Brother of the soul of our Commander Hugo Chávez, founder of the MBR-200 who 32 years ago filled his entire generation with the strength of hope to recover the management of the Fatherland and the absolute independence of our country,” said the head of state.

In addition, he stated that “they were right at that time when two young officers met in Barinas and said that perhaps they would never be promoted to generals of those forces who had given themselves to the gringo forces, but which in turn awakened the consciousness of the youth not to be dominated by the gringos and the mobsters who dominated the country”.

In imposing the promotion, President Maduro said: “I have the absolute happiness of promoting him to the rank of Bolivarian Brigadier General and Patriot.”
