President Maduro: Popular Power is the vaccine against capitalism and fascism

This Saturday, July 6th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed that the perfect antidote to the “old decrepit” capitalist model and fascism in Venezuela is Popular Power.

“To cure ourselves in health, the only formula there is (...) the vaccine against the old decrepit model of wild capitalism and against the old decrepit of fascist ideology is Popular Power, Community Power, Community Councils, and People mobilized in the street,” emphasized the National President during the First National Meeting of Communal Circuits in Barquisimeto, Lara state.

In that sense, he reflected that, with wild capitalism and an elite democracy, Venezuela would retreat, unlike what would happen with socialism and the democracy of the people.

He stressed that the People cannot let “the old decrepit of the capitalist model and the old decrepit ideology of fascism return to power in Venezuela.”
