The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, paid tribute this Friday to the Cantor del Pueblo, Ali Primera, on the occasion of commemorating 39 years since his passage to immortality.

“39 years ago we planted the eternal “Cantor del Pueblo” Ali Primera, today our streets are covered with flowers in a beautiful manifestation of love that treasures his legacy as a revolutionary ideal and part of Venezuelan history, culture and identity,” said the Head of State through the social network X.

Born on October 31, 1941 in the city of Coro, Falcón State, Ely Rafael Primera Rosell, better known as Ali Primera, was a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, musician and poet, who, thanks to his commitment to just causes, was baptized as the “Cantor del Pueblo”.
