The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that on January 10, ordinary people will take to the streets to swear by peace, independence and sovereignty.

“On January 10, ordinary women, men and youth will take to the streets to swear, for peace, union, sovereignty and full independence,” said the head of state through a message posted on his social networks.

Maduro swore by Bolivar, Zamora and Hugo Chávez that the presidential house “the people's house” will never fall into the hands of a puppet of the oligarchy, nor of imperialism.
