President Maduro ordered the reactivation of the Working Class Combatant Corps

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered the immediate reactivation of the country's Working Class Combatant Corps to implement a new plan for the active defense of our right to peace, productivity and production.

“Venezuela has a defensive system, a perfect defense concept. This system is a legacy of centuries of struggle dating back to Guaicaipura, from José Leonardo Chirinos, from Bolívar, Sucre, Urdaneta, from Zamora, taken from the best universal doctrines for war,” said the Head of State during a meeting with the Bolivarian National Militia at the Miraflores Palace.

The President also emphasized that Venezuela's defense doctrine is based on the “war of the whole people”, in which every inhabitant of this country is obliged to participate in the comprehensive defense of the nation.

“We have been adapting and building this concept, and the protagonist, as the constitution says, is the people,” he said.

In the same way, Maduro highlighted the level of preparation that the members of this military component have achieved in favor of the defense of our sacred territory.
