The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, visited the José Antonio Ávalos National Educational Unit in the parish of El Valle, a high school where he studied and took his first steps in the social struggle.

From his telegram channel, he wrote: “A large number of emotions and memories come to me when I return to the “José Antonio Ávalos” high school in my parish El Valle, my school, where my preparation was forged in the neighborhoods of Caracas, in these spaces where I began to pay tribute and take steps in the construction of affirmative Venezuela and a new history; today I had a trip back in time to remember my time as a high school student, the murals, the classmates, the stories of romance, so many emotions; the “José A. Ávalos” high school I owe so much...”.
