“I really don't care: I really know what the United States government thinks,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in his program “With Maduro+”, in its 53rd edition of the third season.

In that sense, regarding the statement of the United States, which alleges that it has the electoral records, he said that imperialism had no witnesses at the tables of the polling stations. “I didn't notice,” he ironized.

He assured that in the internal affairs of the country it is the People of Venezuela who decide, not the government of the United States, in reference to the fact that he does not care that the United States has not recognized Edmundo González as the country's elected president.

“I don't care, it's the people of Venezuela who decide here, the Constitution, the Venezuelan institutions. We are Venezuelans, no one should get involved in this,” he said.

The head of state stressed that Venezuela “does not meddle in anyone's affairs.”

He stressed that what is really important and if it matters to him is Peace, and that the institutions in the country are increasingly strong.
