President Maduro on the right: We have always been underestimated

This Tuesday, July 16, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the sectors of the extreme right have always underestimated him and the people of Venezuela, since his arrival to the presidency. 

 “It's not that they just underestimate me, they underestimate the deep, humble people of those who are working, have had a hard time and those who have resisted,” he said during a meeting with leaders of the independent opposition at the Miraflores Palace.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that if Venezuela is making progress in economic development today, it is thanks to the men and women who planted themselves, innovated, worked and who did not give up, in the face of the blockade, sanctions and the economic war against the country.

He recalled that the Venezuelan extreme right has always bet on violence and the destabilization of the country, stressing that when they came to the National Assembly in 2015, instead of working for the nation, they dedicated themselves to promoting guarimba and sanctions against the Homeland.
