The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on the people of Caracas to protect the recently reopened Plaza Darío Vivas on Fuerzas Armadas Avenue, which was destroyed by violent groups linked to the extreme right days after the election of July 28.

“It is the community that must protect Dario so that fascism can never attack him again. Let the community have that beautiful, protected place. To attack a boulevard is to attack the people,” said the Head of State through a telephone message sent at the opening ceremony in this space.

In the same way, the President instructed the authorities of Caracas and the community to give maximum publicity to the work that was carried out to recover these spaces.
