President Maduro on José Vicente Rangel: Honest, Persevering and Loyal Man

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, paid tribute to the revolutionary José Vicente Rangel, on the occasion of four years since his physical departure.
The Head of State described Rangel as “a man dear and recognized by our people, honest, persevering, loyal, with a brilliant capacity for communication and dialogue”.
He also assured that he was a forerunner of the defense of Human Rights in Venezuela. It became an urban legend of those who fought and resisted torture, harassment and humiliation.
The president thanked the journalist for accompanying him in his struggles, and added that “his legacy, present in words and actions, is a heritage for the struggles that are to come. Honor and Glory!”
