The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the history of the plans of opposition extremism, now with former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia, is now being repeated as a tragicomedy.

“I am saddened by the fact that you, Mr. González Urrutia, who asked me for clemency and had no word,” he highlighted at the port of the state of La Guaira, where he led the “Export Chapter” Economy Council.

Regarding the alleged coercion alleged by González Urrutia, the head of state asked: “Who is more coerced or persecuted? González Urrutia in front of a lady like Delcy Rodríguez or Nicolás Maduro who has been launched drones, missiles and sanctions around the world? And have you seen me chicken out?

Faced with this scenario, he assured that the aforementioned opponent “ended up being a patarucus”.

Regarding the plans to repeat the internship plans with González Urrutia, he said that “if the first one was bad, the second one is worse; in this case it's a tragicomedy,” he said.
