President Maduro: No one will prevent us from building a productive and diversified economy

President Nicolás Maduro called on Venezuelans to build an economy that generates wealth and satisfies the country in all its aspects.

“No one will prevent us from building a productive and diversified economy,” said the head of state in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

Through an audiovisual material that accompanies the message, Maduro recalled that Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, in addition to having the fourth largest reverse of gas.

He argued that Venezuela must fully develop the hydrocarbon industry. “We cannot repeat the mistake of the 20th century, of becoming an oil protectorate,” he added.

“We can be part of the global energy equation,” he said.
