The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, maintained that the Bolivarian Government has virtuously built all the mechanisms of economic dialogue for the creation of a new national productive system, specifically: a new economic model.
This model stressed that “it must have as its fundamental element the capacity to sustain itself, self-sustainability and must have the capacity to generate responses in each of its engines and circuits of productive interaction, to achieve real economic growth”.
The approach was made at the Miraflores Palace, where he led a working day of the National Council for Productive Economy, accompanied by the heads of the 13 Productive Engines, as well as representatives of the country's public and private business sectors.
“We have demonstrated that under any circumstance, our country has the capacity to produce, generate wealth, and the only thing that truly generates wealth is work well done, planned, with an economic strategy,” he said.
He added that Venezuela “has managed to move forward from what we call in 2018, a first economic model of a war economy. In due course, the criminal economic sanctions repudiated by all Venezuelan public opinion, requested by a handful of unqualifiable people.”
