President Maduro: More than 59,000 people applied to be PSUV candidates on May 25

Until 6 in the afternoon of this Saturday, March 15, a total of 59,622 people were nominated by the members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to be candidates for governors, deputies to the National Assembly, and deputies of legislative councils during the elections of next May 25.
This was reported by the president of the red awning, Nicolás Maduro, who stressed that, of these candidates, 28,388 are women and 31,192 are men.
“This is the prelude to the successful elections for governorates, National Assembly and Legislative Councils on May 25. We are on the way to a great democratic success,” he emphasized during a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
In this regard, he pointed out that more than 5 million Venezuelans have participated in the 47,263 popular assemblies convened for this Saturday.
In the same way, he highlighted the level of revolutionary consciousness possessed by the Venezuelan people who have never surrendered and will never surrender, despite the attacks.
